Original XVIII Provenza´s armchair

Provençal armchair south of France, 1790. Appeared in a attic of Raixa's Manor belonging to Cardinal Des'Puig.

Italian armchair in cadmium orange painting ca 1780

Colección del cardenal D'esPuig, quizas mi mejor encargo. De primera vista vi como unos saltados de pintura y una capa inferior de naranja cadmio  (las ordenes eran decaparlas como lo hicieron el resto de restauradores a los hermanos y hermanas de mi clienta... )Elaboradas en Italia y pintadas al estilo Pompeyano. En Raixa se conservaban parte de esa coleccón,  por cierto también están repintadas . Mi trabajo fué retirar minuciosamente y centimetro a centimetro dos capas de repintes muy gruesas y las zonas rebeldes  a bisturí,las faltas fueron estucadas y policromadas. Varniz damar al tampón para proteger la pintura al temple original.
